After a five-year hiatus, Ford re-introduced its retro-futuristic 11th generation (2002-2005) Ford Thunderbird according to the 1st generation formula, as a two-seat coupe/convertible layout reminiscent of the first-generation. This 11th generation Thunderbird was built on the same sophisticated platform as the Lincoln LS and Jaguar S-Type. The sole engine of the Thunderbird was a Jaguar-designed 3.9 L DOHC V8 making 280 horsepower and 286 lb?ft of torque. The engine was mated to a smooth shifting 5-speed automatic transmission. This particular 2005 Thunderbird has been kept in beautiful condition. It only has a little over 10K miles and looks like it drove off the showroom floor.
