Vinyl InteriorFor sale in our Orlando showroom is a 1969 AMC AMX. The AMX was introduced in the middle of 1968 and was designed to appeal to the younger generation of muscle car buyer. It certainly succeeded in that, with a large campaign with Playboy enterprises and a target price of under $3500 the AMX hit record sales numbers right out of the gate. Our 1969 AMX is very original sporting a 390CID V8 backed by a Borg Warner 4 speed with Hurst shifter. Even the original 8 track is still intact and functioning with the Elvis Presley greatest hits collection included at time of sale. Options and accessories for the 69 AMX were limited and sparse but our example does come with the 390CID V8, Go Package, Hurst Shifter, 8 track, and Power steering which were top of the line in 69. The level of care that this vehicle has seen over the years is very evident just by the condition of the interior and exterior. No modifications have been made to this car or additional gages, electronics etc etc. Even the carpet in this ride is the thick pile plush that Mopar was known for back in the day.
