For sale in our Orlando showroom is a 1940 Chevrolet Deluxe. The Chevrolet Deluxe was introduced in 1940 and was designed to be the every man’s car. Economically powered with the blue flame inline 6 and minimal options list, the deluxe was indeed a car for every man. Unfortunately just 2 years after its introduction, production was halted with the advent of WW2. Even though production was halted for civilian use, General Motors produced a few thousand coupes and sedans for military staff cars. With high production numbers, sweeping styling, and smooth lines it was only a matter of time before the hot rod generation would take note. The Deluxe, Stylemaster, and Fleetmaster have all been used as canvas’s for hot rods, some featuring exotic cubic inch engines, extremely chopped rooflines, and wild paint schemes. This 1940 Deluxe is equipped with a great running 350cid crate engine with Edlebrock intake manifold and carburetor. Cruising in comfort is the name of the game in this Deluxe, equipped with A/C, power steering, AM/FM/CD player, power brakes, and cruise control you definitely won’t be feeling beat up after the drive. The interior itself is done in pink leather with stainless steel accents abound and a set of VDO vintage gauges while the exterior is swathed in an Ivory base with hand painted flames on the hood and fenders. Located in our Orlando Showroom this 1940 Chevrolet Deluxe can be seen including HD pictures and videos at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For additional information please call 407-771-2000 or
