Telescopic Steering WheelRiviera, that were miles ahead of their time in both styling and technology. Our Riviera started life as an ordinary deep blue Riviera that needed a little bit of loving. Over the course of a few years and being completed in 2007 this plain Jane Riv got turned into a total knockout. Starting with the exterior, it was taken down to bare metal and any places that needed attention were done so with metal. Pictures cannot do the paint job justice on this car, in the sunlight its absolutely stunning. The interior is one of the best jobs of being subtly custom that we've seen in a long time, the dash, seats, carpet, and headliner are all new and indeed very custom but at the same time, nothing looks like it wouldn't have been there in 1963. The gauges, switches, and trim along the dash are all original to the vehicle yet the material and color scheme is on a whole other level. Under the hood sits a very stout 401CID V8 mated to dual 4bbl carbs and a few other old school hot rod touches, such as the custom valve covers, body painted intake manifold and water pump. The transmission is still the first generation twin turbine automatic transmission which is akin to the powerglide 2 speed. From the factory this Riviera was exceptionally well equipped with features such as A/C, power steering, power brakes, power seats, power windows, AM/FM Classic industries radio, and hidden controls for the vintage air system. This is an incredible show piece that has received plenty of acclaim at car shows and will definitely give the new owner many trophies over the course of its life.
