With the Torino ending in 1977 the Ranchero needed a new platform that it found in a very unlikely candidate, the full size Thunderbird/LTD/Cougar platform. With the larger platform and luxury trim options available this was by far one of the best riding and comfortable "ute's" ever created. This burgandy and gold example comes loaded with a very rare combination of packages, for one it is a GT but came with the Thunderbird Brougham interior package. Under the hood sits a well maintained 351CID backed by the C6 automatic transmission. Being an original Arizona car the body and undercarriage are quite clean for a 7th gen. This truck also features dual exhaust, rear air compensating shocks, and aftermarket transmission cooler.
