Professionally built, this 55 has all the right equipment for show and go. Starting with the canvas this 55 is all steel bodied and bathed in a stunning rally red and classic white scheme that carries over to the interior. Now for the good stuff, under the hood sits a very built 383CID Stroker atop of which sits a 671 Weiand full polish supercharger with twin holley blow through carbs. The transmission is a custom built TH400 unit from TCI that has a lower first gear, trans brake, and 4500 nitrous stall converter. Ignition is taken care of by the MSD AL7, Billet lo pro distributor, and boost timing switch. The rear end is a spooled Dana 60 with 4:88 gears and fitted to the rear is the wheelie bar by competition engineering. If all of these go fast goodies aren't enough to do it for you then you can always hit the ludicrous speed button that activates the big shoot dual tank 200hp/400hp nitrous system. The system has just been installed but has not had a pass made on the hot sauce yet. Inside the cab there is the half cage which provides safety while still making entry and exit manageable. This tri five is indeed the right cocktail of show quality looks from the stunning paint job and full polished rear spoiler, and hardware from the purpose built engine/trans/nitrous combo under the hood.
