SeatbeltsFor sale in our Orlando showroom is a 1940 Cadillac 7519. This production run was limited to 155 examples. This sedan is number 155 -the last car built for the model year. During 20 years of ownership, a complete restoration was undertaken with no detail too small and it reflects in the concourse wining condition of this vehicle. This big Cadillac has never been outside in the elements after the restoration and has only had 1800 miles put on it since. The collective cost of restoration for this amazing limo is over $120,000 which is all documented. During the engine rebuild, stainless valves were installed; carburetor, starter, generator and water pump rebuilt, the radiator rebuilt and re-cored. The transmission and differential were rebuilt. A new wiring harness was installed; the gas tank rebuilt and tubing replaced. The brake system was overhauled, including new metal brake lines. The 6 new radial tires improve the drivability. The exterior paint has 2 coats of color under the clear coat; windows and seals are all new and trim throughout re-chromed. The interior features a brandy and cognac bar in the rear passenger compartment with the original crystal decanters and glasses. All woodwork was refurbished, and seats upholstered in sumptuous model-correct leather. All carpets, including the trunk, have been replaced to the original standards. Included are the complete set of repair and parts manuals, numerous Cadillac Club periodicals and many spare parts.
