Vinyl InteriorFor sale in our Orlando showroom is this classic 1965 Jeep CJ-5. The CJ-5 has the distinct honor of being a vehicle that was hard to kill off. This Chevy powered 1965 CJ-5 is a complete hand built frame-up custom restoration job. Powered by a 2000 Chevy 4.3 L35 motor with a brand new upgraded multi-port injection, custom made exhaust headers, cold air intake system, a custom aluminum radiator and dual exhaust. It’s hooked up to a Borg-Warner T-90 3 speed manual transmission, Dana 18 transfer case and Dana 44 rear and 27 front axles. The original brakes have been replaced by big disk brakes pushed by Wilwood master cylinder and a Jeep YJ Wrangler Brake/Clutch pedals. The hydraulic clutch has a Wilwood clutch cylinder. With steel braided fuel lines and a Mr. Gasket gas pedal. Power steering is hooked up to a Saginaw steering column.
The frame was striped and painted, underside of body sprayed; it’s painted inside with Rhino bed liner. The body was removed from the frame, floor pans were replaced, as were the fenders and tailgate. Crager steel wheels and 31 inch tires, the swing away spare tire carrier is custom design and hand built. It does include the full Bestop Supertop with 2 piece removable doors. Full functional specs books with all parts information and wiring information. The inside has new vinyl seats.
