The appearance was changed to match the full-sized Ford, which had been restyled in the 1965 model year. The front end featured vertically stacked dual headlights. The XL, GT, and GTA packages were introduced, as well as a convertible to join the existing range of sedans, hardtops, and station wagons. This Fairlane features a 347 Stroker V8 with Mallory ignition along with a Ford C6 Transmission and has only 1,624 miles since the rebuild This car will get up and go !!! This Fairlane will stand out in the crowd with its PPG Green Metallic paint and features a custom hood the really sets this one apart.. The car has Power Brakes, Power Steering and Air Conditioning. It also has several options including Seat Belts, AM – FM radio , Vinyl Interior American Racing Chrome Alloy wheels and Radial Tires for improved driving and easy maintenance.
