The engine is the stock V6 with fuel Injection and an automatic transmission. This is a numbers matching Prowler in excellent condition with only 30,0338 miles on the odometer. Chrysler engineers were given free rein to design whatever they wanted in a "hot rod" or "sportster" type vehicle. Thomas C Gayle Chrysler's design and international director "love for 1930s-era hot rods inspired Chrysler's latest design triumph, the retro-styled Plymouth Prowler. An early influence is credited to a Chrysler-sponsored project at the Art Center College of Design that resulted in a thesis by Douglas "Chip" Foose that included drawings of a retro-roadster Foose who designed it as a coupe for Chrysler to begin with, but modified it to a roadster version. The V6 in this beauty is the second generation engine with 253 hp which is considerably more that the first engine Chrysler used in the Prowler. The car has the chrome alloy wheels on all four corners with radial tires. Inside you will find that everything works including the tach that was added to the steering column. The thick beautiful leather seats are in great condition as you would expect from a car with mileage this low. The tires are all in very good condition as well. The paint job on this Prowler is one you won’t see anywhere else and you be able to enjoy cruising anywhere while you enjoy some open top fun in this beautiful Roadster.
