The 280Z was released in 1975 in North America, not to be confused with the 280ZX, which is a second-generation Z-car, and featured another engine displacement enlargement to 2.8 L. A major change was the introduction of Bosch fuel injection, replacing the previous SU carburetors. This resulted in a power increase to 170 hp offsetting increased weight from added luxury features and an enlarged bumper that met US Federal regulations. This beautiful Silver is a good example of this sports car that has been touted as one of the best sports cars ever built. This is a very original survivor with under 22k garage kept miles on the original engine and transmission . A 5 speed manual transmission puts the power to the pavement. This silver exterior and black interior sets this “Z†car apart from the crowd along with the wheels from a later model 280 ZX.
