1990 Chevrolet C1500

Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this 1990 Chevrolet 1500 454 SS pickup. It has just completed and LS2 V8 conversion using a 2005 GTO engine and 4L65e 4 speed transmission. The vehicle has 67,137 actual miles on it. The engine is like new with 200 psi across all cylinders and runs at 42 psi of oil pressure going down the road and 26 psi of oil pressure at an idle. The engine made 370 RWHP and over 400 ft lbs. of torque on a Mustang dyno. This truck gets 18 mph running at 80 mph. The engine has an LS6 intake, headers, valve covers, coil relocation brackets and all new gaskets, otherwise it’s all stock. All engine accessories are new GM parts including the alternator, water and power steering pumps, belt, and oil pump. The A/C is all new including hoses, condenser, evaporator, relays, switches and a modernized Sanden compressor that runs very quiet compared to the original R4. The radiator is a Be Cool 4 core aluminum radiator with new dual electric fans. The suspension has a 3”/4” drop using Ranchero springs/front spindles and shocks and includes all new brakes (master cylinder, rotors, calipers, pads, shoes, and lines). The truck has an 11,000 lb. tow capacity (it’s a ¾ ton frame) with a factory tow receiver under the license plate. It’s wired for towing from the factory as well. The rear end is the corporate 14 bolt 3:73 posi-traction unit with new axle seals, bearings, and fluids. The rims are new Riddler custom wheels with new tires less than 6 months ago. The truck was painted the original black and a new 2” cowl induction hood was added along with a new grill, emblems, and lights. Has a rear roll pan and shaved tailgate with the handle reversed to the inside. The lockable bed cover has all new hardware and includes a new drop-in liner. The windshield was replaced for a clear unblemished view of the road. The interior has new VHX gauges, new carpets with a complete DynoMat underlayment. Corbeau adjustable seats and a Tuffy lockable black powder coated console make this truck a comfortable and secure ride. The stereo has a single C/D, Bluetooth, and auxiliary capability and is complemented with a 300-watt amp and six new 50 watts per channel speakers and sounds fantastic.
