The 1970 Cougar’s outside appearance was similar to the 1969 model, but numerous changes were made inside and out. It now sported a new front end which featured a pronounced center hood extension and electric shaver grille like the 1967 and 1968 Cougars. Federally mandated locking steering columns appeared inside, and the new nose and taillight bezels updated it on the outside. The 351 C “Cleveland†V8 was now available for the first time. This car received a complete restoration of body and frame in 2013 including the replacement of all rusted panels including the floor pans and quarters. All suspension, front end and brake lines have been replaced. The interior was also addressed and includes a new sound system. The car was finished in Glassier Blue with an off-white interior. Original options include Console, Power front disc brakes, Power Steering, Décor group, AM radio and remote control Left Hand Mirror. This car is ready to cruise as a Sunday fun car or even an everyday driver.
