The original Beetle was produced from 1938-2003. In those 65 years of production, 21,529,464 "bugs" were made. The last couple decades the Beetle was manufactured in Puebla Mexico, where it is commonly referred to as the "Vochito." This one has a Virginia Title. With just over 25,000 miles (being sold as not actual because it was EXEMPT on the title) on the 1600cc air cooled engine this VW runs as smooth as it should. If you ever owned a Beetle, and who hasn’t, it takes about 30 seconds to travel back in time to those familiar surroundings. This modernized version of the 1.6 liter power plant features fuel injection and electronic ignition. It is backed by a 4 speed manual transmission. Other options include: AM/FM/Cassette, hub caps, seat belts, cloth interior, and radial tires (new). After WW2 the plans and rights to build the Beetle were offered to Allied countries as war reparations, but none accepted. Generations later the Beetle finally came to an end.
