Gateway Classic Cars of Philadelphia is presenting a 1967 Pontiac GTO for sale. This GTO is Royal Blue with Parchment interior. This GTO was given a complete frame off rotisserie restoration that was completed in 2005. The restoration included replacing the trunk pan, front DS floor pan, right and left rear rocker panels and the rear taillight panel as well. This GTO is powered by a 1974 Pontiac 455 CI engine bored 30 over. The build includes Eagle connecting rods, Hypo tech pistons, Arp fasteners and ported and polished 6x heads with a three angle valve job. A new Holley 770 Avenger Carburetor sits on a polished Edelbrock RPM aluminum high rise manifold with extra aluminum removed. The cam is a high lift hi duration Competition Cam with 6.5 Roller Rockers. The 455 CI Pontiac motor is cooled by an aluminum radiator, a custom aluminum shroud and an electric fan. Lubrication is handled by a 7 quart oil pan and dual remote oil filters. Total oil capacity is 9 quarts. The transmission is a Tremec 650 HP 5 speed with a Hurst shifter. The clutch disc, pressure plate, throw out bearing and the flywheel are all new. There is also a Lakewood blow shield and engine block protection plate on the car. The battery has been relocated to the trunk and the car has been fitted with a new Painless wiring harness and fuse panel. MSD electronic ignition, high intensity Dual lights and a new radio with 10 disc CD changer also is mounted in the trunk. The interior features optional headrest, a reconditioned console with a Hurst T handle shifter, and line lock. New seat covers front and rear, new carpet and seat belts make a great looking interior. Window cranks and other interior hardware have all been refurbished or replaced. The rear is a GM 12 Bolt Posi with new Richmond 4:10 Gears. 15" Staggered Pontiac Rally II wheels complete the cars outward appearance with the rear being an extra two inches wide to handle the larger tires. The suspension has been upgraded with new polyurethane body and suspension bushings. The frame has been welded and boxed. Other options include Hogkis tubular upper and lower control items, and Fat Boy 2" drop spindles. Body roll is controlled by both front and rear stabilizer bars with adjustable front and rear coil over shocks and springs. This car rides on rails. Drilled and slotted manual disc brakes on all four corners guarantee a quick stop.
