The CAV GT40 is made in South Africa as a replica of the car that finally won Lemans for Ford in the sixties. This CAV GT 40 is decked out in GULF Livery just like the famous race car. Front and door roundels are painted, and the rear is a decal like the original. The car has both single and twin nostril front cowls. Green/blue bomber light, because the car is LHD, the livery was reversed so the number decal on the rear and the bomber light are on the drivers side, instead of the passenger side. The plexiglass between the occupants and the engine compartment has been replaced with high quality glass. This CAV GT 40 features Gulf wide rear body clip, Air Conditioning, dual foam cell fuel tanks, approximately 12 gallons each. A 363CI Small Block Ford with 4 custom IDA 48 Webber's built by Jim Inglese, and a new Dart Block with all forged Eagle internals. A Pro gear true roller timing set with Torrington Bearing Thrust plate. The wheels and tires are Michelin Pilot sports 245/45 R17 and 33/35 R17 with 8" and 12" BRM wheels front and rear.
