It is not every day that you can refer to a car as a shed find, but that's exactly where this one was stored for a reported 42 years which puts it on the road from 1972 to 1980. This would back up the claim by the current owner that the mileage is accurate at just over 13,000. Outside of most of the car being original with refurbished parts, the only thing aftermarket is the recently replaced carburetor. The blue exterior is still shiny and the white interior shows as if it has seen very little traffic on it. The AM/FM radio was not working so they removed it and a few parts are needed to complete the missing pieces on the dash. The 1600cc engine is in great running condition and the 4 speed manual transmission shifts smooth. This Beetle is ready to hit the open road and stretch its legs after a long slumber. Gateway Classic Cars disclaims any and all warranties. All vehicles are sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS, with no warranties, expressed, written or implied (*2). Any descriptions or representations are for identification purposes only and are not to be construed as a warranty of any type.
Gateway Classic Cars is not responsible for any representations as to the condition and/or the value of any vehicle. Gateway Classic Cars relies on the owner(s) for information about the vehicles. The advertised price does not include a documentary fee of $397.63, which will be added to the sale price.
