The Coupe DeVille was a continuation of Cadillac's “Series 62" through the 1964 model year and you can see the resemblance in the styling evolution of these cars from the late 50's/early 60's. It's not every day you'll come across a 56-year-old Cadillac that is well maintained and shows 16,819 miles on the odometer (we believe the odometer has rolled over). At 223 inches long, it's hard to miss this all-American luxury barge and this Caddy features its original two tone “Sierra Gold Metallic" with a White hardtop that's still in good condition albeit with some clearcoat fading in places from age. Check out those signature tailfins as well; not quite as large as the famous 1959 Cadillacs but this Coupe DeVille wouldn't be complete without them. GM's luxury division introduced a new engine for '64- the 429 cubic inch V8 with a 4bbl carburetor that made 340hp from the factory. Regular maintenance has been kept up over the years (receipts available with purchase) but this car still has it's original engine and 3-speed Turbo-Hydramatic automatic transmission. This graceful Cadillac gets even better once you open the doors and take a seat in the well-preserved Tan front leather bench seat. The multitude of functional options on this stock '64 Cadillac blows my mind: air conditioning (or as GM called it, “Comfort Control"), power windows, cruise control, AM/FM radio, rear window defogger, “Guide-matic" automatic headlamp control, window washers and a glare-proof inside rear view mirror. Just 38,195 2dr Coupe DeVille's were sold in 1964 according to data from Hagarty, and there can't be too many left in survivor quality condition like this.
