This Black painted Ford comes with plenty of era-appropriate chrome (with some brand new brightwork replacements for the grille/headlight surrounds in the trunk), restored running boards and new white wall tires. The Super Deluxe models like this '48 came with factory extras like a clock, arm rest on both driver and passenger doors, ashtrays, a horn ring, and so-called “extra quality upholstery". On this car, the Tan and Red interior is a really nice place to sit and has been completely re-done; the radio, dashboard and gauges have been restored to original condition and turn signals added for safety. 60 years before it became standard on new cars, this 1948 Ford has a push button start mechanism! The power operated Tan convertible top is in good working shape and comes with a matching boot cover. The brake, fuel and cooling system on this '48 Ford have recently been overhauled and this classic drop top is driving like a dream. Speaking of the powertrain, this Super Deluxe convertible has its period correct 239 CID flathead V8 and a 3-speed column shift manual transmission.
