Hiding under the hood is a 350 CID V8 engine with several upgrades including World cylinder heads, comp cam, Eagle I Beam rods, roller rocker arms, Mallory HyFire ignition and a Walker radiator with dual electric cooling fans. The engine compartment is just as head-turning as the rest of the car thanks to the custom paint splatter on the firewall and engine block. The chrome on components such as the air cleaner, alternator and valve covers don't hurt either. This 1934 Ford stops and steers great thanks to power brakes, power steering and Mustang II suspension. Gearing is handled by a Turbo 350 3-speed automatic transmission feeding the Posi-Trac Ford 9" rear end geared 3.73 for a nice balance of acceleration and performance at speed. Inside there's seating for two in a gray/black tweed cloth presentation with black carpet. Billet handles and surrounds for the Stewart Warner gauges and power window controls are a nice touch and there's also a Budnik 3-spoke tilt steering wheel. An Alpine AM/FM/CD player has been built into the dash arrangement along with all-important air conditioning.
