Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is proudly featuring this epic 2004 Chevrolet Double Dually custom pickup marketed for sale on consignment with our showroom in Phoenix, Arizona. We get to see some pretty awesome rides on the regular at Gateway Classic Cars, but this rig is something else! This Double Dually began its life as a heavy-duty Silverado pickup and was intended to transport Bonneville speed racers for Ontario, California outfit Spectre Industries but ended up taking on a wild personality of its own. Painted in all Black, this pickup formerly had a Red/Champagne two tone paint scheme and was featured at prestigious events from SEMA to Good Guys, the Hot Rod Power Tour and even featured on the cover of ‘Truckin magazine. The wheels are Brentz 22" all the way around and the rear has been tubbed to account for the extra width. Each axle on this vehicle is on independent adjustable airbags and the extended rhino-lined truck bed can be raised or lowered all the way using hydraulic operation. The chassis is also completely unique to this truck. Later in this truck's life, a Cadillac front end and taillights were installed to give a nod to the built motor under the hood, which helps this Double Dually covers some serious ground. The massive balanced and blueprinted 500 CID V8 engine is hooked up to a pair of Garrett turbochargers and engineered by Cad Company, known as the industry leader for big block Cadillac performance, for an estimated output of 1,425hp and 1,671 lb ft of torque. Yeah, that much power will move this heavy Chevy alright.. This beast needs a workhorse rated transmission to control those ponies and that's what you get here with the 5-speed Allison automatic. Open any of the four doors on this Double Dually pickup and you'll see Cream leather is upholstered on all seating surfaces as well as door panels. A custom FAST gauge set shows your usual readings with both analogue and digital displays and there's a pod on the left monitoring the turbos. Air ride controls can be found on the center console and a Kenwood touch screen stereo system with added door speakers has been installed. There's so much we could talk about on this 2004 Double Dually that wouldn't fit in this paragraph but we have appraisals, service records and more provenance to share on request. You may have seen or heard about this truck before; now is your opportunity to take ownership! Are you ready to punch the throttle and turn some heads yet?!
