Chevrolet introduced the styling of the 1968 Camaro similar to the 1967 design. With the introduction of Astro Ventilation, a fresh-air-inlet system, the side vent windows were deleted. Side marker lights were added on the front and rear fenders which was a government requirement for all 68 vehicles. It also had a more pointed front grille and divided rear taillights. The front running lights (on non-RS models) were also changed from circular to oval. This specific 1968 for sale at Gateway Classic Cars is rebuilt and restored to a pro-street and strip car. Under the hood you will find 502 cubic inches of power. The 502 CID V8 engine is backed by a turbo 400 automatic transmission. The rear end is comprised of a 4.56 Dana with 35 spline Moser axles. With this combination you are sure to blow your hair back. The build has just 5000 miles since it was assembled. Other options include: Racing wheels and tires (tires are DOT approved 33X18.5 wide), seat belts, bucket seats, tubular upper A-arms, Aerospace CNC billet 4-pistons calipers both front and back, Aerospace billet hubs, QA1 adjustable coilover shocks both front and back, adjustable 4-link setup, 12 point roll cage, 2 inch headers with 2 1/2 \" mufflers, and a 750 CFM carburetor. The exterior of this street machine is coated in a great looking red gloss paint which is sure to grab attention; just hope it\'s not the police.
