For sale is a 1946 Packard Clipper 4 DR touring sedan. This rare classic is painted is a very unique manner. The exterior is coated in silver and blue two-toned paint which was not an option. However, this paint scheme was used in the print ads for the car in 1946 but oddly was never painted that way, that is until now! Moving on to the interior you will notice great looking brown cloth interior which is indicative of that era. Under the hood you will find a 350 CID V8 engine backed by a Turbo 350 automatic transmission. Other options include: power brakes, power steering, cloth interior, and radial tires. The rear axle is from a Olds 98. One nice thing about this specific Packard is how effortlessly the car starts. Just depress the petal once and push the starter button and it purrs like a kitten. 30,931 units were produced in 1946 and they fought with Cadillac sales. The original window sticker price was just $1,730! This is a great car for shows and or cruising.
