Vinyl InteriorFor sale in our St. Louis showroom is a gorgeous 1969 Mercury Cyclone CJ. The Cyclone Cobra Jet was offered by Mercury for one year only, during the peak of the big block power craze. It is the engine of course that sets the Cyclone CJ apart from the typical Cyclones. This car sports its original 428 CID which was rated by Ford at 335 horsepower and 440 pound feet of torque, (although many believe this to be underrated). This CJ has a C6 automatic transmission running to a 9" rear end housing 3:50 gears with Trac Lock. The car has been beautifully restored including a stunning coat of black paint that looks so deep that you could reach your hands right in. Also included in the restoration was an engine and transmission overhaul done to standard bore, standard rod and main bearing. Highlights of this well optioned car include the Ram Air induction, Power Windows, and tachometer. Documentation available for this car includes Marti Report, window sticker reproduction, restoration photos, and dealer sales brochures.
