For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a very unique custom 1931 Ford Model A Huckster. You'll certainly stand out from the crowd in this street rod. Under the hood, or lack thereof, you'll find a Chevrolet big block crammed in where a 4 cylinder would have sat originally. 454 cubic inches of American fury propel this Ford body with ease. Backing the engine is a Turbo Hydramatic automatic transmission which runs to a Ford 9" rear end with 3.90 final drive ratio. It takes a stout drive train to turn the massive Mickey Thompson meats on the back of this bad boy. The polished American Racing wheels are front and rear with a nice staggered look. Slowing things down is no problem either with four wheel disc brakes. The body is primarily wood and is beautifully crafted and rest on a Pete and Jakes Chassis. Don't let the matte finish on the steel fool you into thinking this is a rat rod. The wood work was completed by a carpenter who does finish work on luxury yachts. The rear bed is nicely adorned in leather and wood and features an antique fire extinguisher and bottle jack. The cabin is nicely appointed in beautiful saddle upholstery and wood. The interior features full instrumentation, tilt steering column, and Lokar shifter with a very cool Skull knob. This rod is ready to hit the streets and catch looks everywhere it goes.
