This American, steel machine is powered by its believed to be original 327 CID V8 engine and Powerglide automatic transmission. 1964 was the first year for the third generation Impala. Here's the kicker, this Chevy has just 68,994 actual miles. That is just 1,379 miles per year. The car is solid and in showroom quality condition. Options include: radio, power brakes, seat belts, vinyl interior, radial tires, and 15" Crager aftermarket performance wheels. Talk about color combinations, this black with red interior Impala is gorgeous. This color combo is factory correct for this car. The paint, interior and chrome were all restored in 2007. Recently, the Impala was given a new fuel pump, upper and lower ball joints, control arm bushings, rear air shocks, body braces, front disc brakes from a late 60s model Chevelle, and new rear center trim. Needless to say, this is a very well maintained/restored classic that gives you a reason to go cruising on Friday night. Let the stresses of the work week dissolve away; hearing the exhaust purr, we promise it won't take long. For 1964, the Impala was slightly restyled, reverting to a more rounded, softer look. The signature taillight assembly had an "upside-down U" shaped aluminum trim strip above the taillights, but the individual lights were surrounded by a body-colored panel.
