This truck features the legendary 4.9L Incline 6 cylinder. Being a Straight 6, the engine is inherently balanced and with a 4.9L displacement it is a torque monster. Though the stout 300 CI I6 only put out 114 HP, the torque output was higher than that of the 302 V8! For towing, offroading, or hauling the 4.9 is preferred by many. Backing this 6 banger is a 4 speed shifted on the floor manual transmission. The engine and trans are original to the truck and have only 61,394 original miles.
