1964 Dodge Polara

For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a Mopar classic, a 1964 Dodge Polara. This vintage Dodge has all the styling and goodies indicative of the 60s. Looking forward towards the dash you'll see the push buttons for shifting the 727 TorqueFlite transmission and a reverse safety lever. The dashboard also offers recessed gauges and chrome while the rest of the interior offers black vinyl. Going well with the black vinyl is the gloss white exterior. The white paint shows well and helps highlight the stylish body curves. Powering this Mopar is a 413 CID V8 engine. The 413, when fitted with inline dual 4-barrel carburetors, would be factory-rated at 380 brake horsepower at 5000 rpm and 450 lb-ft at 3600 rpm. The 413 V8 engine in this Polara was not factory. However, now it sure moves well down the road! Other options include: AM radio, power steering, seat belts, vinyl interior, and raised white letter radial tires. The 1964 models received a revised front end and new tail lamps to distinguish them from the 1963 cars. Rear end treatment took its inspiration from the Chevrolet Impala, the Polara models now featuring six small, square-shaped taillights (three on each side) surrounded by an attractive bright trim panel. 1964 ended up being the last year for the second generation Polara.
