For sale in St Louis location is a 1955 Chevrolet Belair painted in a stunning color combination of pearl white and Lamborghini orange. This beautiful 2 door hardtop has a full frame off restoration. During the restoration the car received all new glass, new crown moldings, new stainless steel grill, stainless steel hood hinges and the rest of the stainless was reconditioned. It also received new weather stripping, seals, bushings and stainless steel nuts, bolts and washers. There is also Dynamat sound dampener and insulation throughout for an nice quiet ride. For the electrical system there is a new American Classic updated wiring harness with new gauges, intermittent wipers electric fuel pump and a third brake light. The radio consist of an am/fm with mp3 player and a10 disc changer. Your tunes can be heard through 2 6x9 speakers and a 12" subwoofer receiving their power through an amplifier mounted in the trunk. The interior retains a classic look and feel with the reupholstered bench seat. Powering this almost new '55 hardtop is a 350 small block Chevy that's been balanced and blueprinted that features a steel crank, Eagle I-beam steel rods, floating pistons, hydraulic cam with roller rockers, heavy duty push rods, high volume oil pump, vortex aluminum heads and intake and a Holley 680 double pumper with MSD ignition. Letting this well built engine exhale is a set of Doug's ceramic coated headers, 3 inch stainless steel custom exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers all polished for a great look. Backing up this power plant is a Tremec 600 5 speed manual transmission with overdrive. This beautiful '55 rides on a set of Crager aluminum wheels with Goodyear Eagle raised white letter tires. The car was restored in 2009 and the build has 10,000 miles. The engine and transmission have less than 6000 miles.
