1972 Dodge Dart

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to offer a cherry 1972 Dodge Dart Demon. The fourth generation of the Dodge Dart brought about a smaller package and many changes from '67 to '76. Just about every year brought on a redesign and there was a huge range of engines available. You can find a fourth generation Dart with everything from a 170 CID I6 to a 440 CID V8, or even a 426 Hemi! This particular 1972 model is a tribute to the Demon 340. It features a very nicely built 340 CID V8 under the hood and an automatic transmission. The car is finished in a very sharp shade of metallic green and features black 340 striping down the side. Some nice additions are the chin spoiler, rear deck wing, and hood scoop. All finished in matte black, they have a classic Mopar look. A nice set of rally wheels wrapped in raised white letter tires complete the look. Inside you'll find green vinyl interior which is in beautiful condition. There's plenty of room on the front bench seat and even plenty of room in the back seats. What is considered a small car of the 70s has plenty of room like the "full size" cars of today. Of course the windows are manually operated and the rears are pop out vent windows. The dash is nice and simple with center speedometer and side temp and fuel gauges; an oil pressure gauge has been added beneath the dash. Options include: AM/FM/cassette, power steering, seat belts, vinyl interior, and rally wheels with raised white letter radial tires. This is a car that will take you down memory lane. After all, who doesn't have a story about a Dart? This is the Dart you wish you had back in the 70s, one with some muscle under the hood.
