This GTA is finished in a brilliant white paint with grey leather interior, both of which are in great condition. Options on this 1989 Pontiac Trans Am GTA include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio with Cassette Player, T-Tops, Cruise Control, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Locks, Power Seats, Power Windows, Tilt Wheel, Keyless Entry, Seat Belts, Anti-Theft Systems, Leather Interior, 4-Wheel Disc Brakes, Aluminum/Alloy Wheels, B&M Rachet Shifter, Budnik Wheels, Budnik Steering Wheel. The third generation Trans Am was produced from 1982 to 1992, and was built on a new shorter 101 inch wheelbase. Pontiac marketed this generation in several different ways, a roomy compact all the way to a fierce sports coupe. 1989 was the 20th year for the Trans Am, Pontiac produced an Anniversary Edition. The Pontiac Trans Am was chosen to pace the 73rd running of the Indianapolis 500, resulting in a Indy Pace Car Replica Edition as well.
This particular Trans Am GTA features the original L98 350 CID 5.7L V8 which produces 235 HP, and features an automatic transmission with a B&M shift kit. The Budnik polished aluminum 17" wheels set this GTA apart from all other GTAs. As you walk around this Pontiac you quickly appreciate the condition of the exterior, and realize this was someone's baby for many years. The interior has not been neglected either, a dash mat protects the top of the dash, and a retro gauge cluster molding that reminds you of the late 1970's Trans Am interior.
