Vinyl InteriorFor sale in our St. Louis showroom is a very well built street rod, a 1932 Ford Coupe. Let's first start with the attention to detail and quality of build. This 1932 is one of the finer cars we've gotten in. From the undercarriage to the hood, this Ford doesn't displease. The build started in 2002 based on a Rats Glass body, although titled as a true 1932 Ford. The Ford is powered by a healthy sounding 305 CID V8 small block Chevy. Backing the engine is a Turbo 350 automatic transmission and a Ford 9" rear-end. The 305 engine is dressed up quite nicely with finned chrome and Sanderson exhaust headers. The block is actually painted body color! You'll also notice a dual quad set up. Two 4BBL carburetors allow this small block to purr. Another thing noteworthy, this build has just 881 miles on it and shows like new. The exterior is coated in a high gloss red while the interior is also bright red vinyl. The attention to detail in the stitching is magnificent. On the painted dash you will see white faced Stewart Warner gauges that light up around the bezels at night. Options include: power windows, tilt wheel, seat belts, vinyl interior, radial tires, door poppers, suicide doors, Billet Specialties steering wheel, power trunk, rear-mounted battery and aluminum/alloy wheels. One of the most labor intensive and pocket heavy features is the all tubed, body painted frame. You absolutely have to refer to the underside pictures for this. A tubed frame not only gives a car a clean look, but it doubles the rigidity and safety. Having a fiberglass body, you'll most definitely appreciate the tubed frame.
