For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis location is a 1932 Chevrolet 2 door sedan. This car has received a full frame off restoration with more attention to detail than you can imagine. The undercarriage is truly a work of art. Polished stainless steel and chrome everywhere. This is a true show car and in fact was taken to shows as a rolling chassis to show off the workmanship. The exterior is painted in black with such a shine, you would never need another mirror. Powering this show piece is a fuel injected Tuned Port small block Chevy. The engine bay goes with the rest of the build and has been chromed and polished to no end. In the engine bay, you will notice the little things like how carefully the brake lines were ran, braided steel hoses, a mirrored firewall and polished covers for the headers. The transmission is a TH-350 with a 10 bolt rear end to deliver the power to the wheels. Underneath this wild ride almost every item that you can find has had some polishing, powder coating or chrome work done. In some of the photos you can even see little bow tie emblems on the heads of the bolts! If there was a good place for a bow tie emblem, it got one! The leaf springs, brakes driveshaft and more have all been polished to an amazing finish. Inside the work continues and you guessed it, more bow tie emblems but all in good taste. The door panels, just beneath the door grab is another bow tie, but you may not even notice. The closer you look the more you find. The mounting plate for the gas pedal, another bow tie, but you have to look for it. You'll feel right at home with the soft leather seats. The interior colors are nice and subtle and include just the right amount of black to go with the exterior. Naturally, all of the stainless trim has been polished. Equipment includes power windows, tilt steering column, A/C controls, AM/FM radio with CD and power seats. Classic Instruments gives you a clear read for the gauge cluster. If a parking brake should look good, I would say this one has it. For more information on this one of a kind Chevrolet, visit our St. Louis showroom or call (618) 271-3000.
