The vehicle has a super slick coat of brought red paint which has been buffed to a high gloss. Nothing beats a little red convertible, and what's more recognizable than a Beetle? The interior is all new as well and features black vinyl upholstery and a bright white convertible top liner. The dash is fairly simple in these Beetles, but is has a working speedo and radio. To match the color scheme some custom Coco floor mats have a black and red scheme. Under the bonnet is a freshly rebuilt VW 1600cc opposed 4 cylinder. The engine as well as the rest of the restoration work has only covered about 1,500 miles since being completed. There's no doubt this one is road ready. Beetles have become highly collectible and make for a great first classic car for someone. They are inexpensive, very reliable, fuel efficient, and incredibly cute. A lot of VW enthusiasts are out there to share their knowledge of restoring, maintaining, and customizing these cars.
