BMW's M division is their in house tuning department that takes normal BMW models and turns them into performance oriented power houses. The most popular model M puts out is the M3. Based off the standard 3 series, this 2003 model gets the 3.2 Liter S54 inline 6 cylinder which puts out 333 horsepower. This M-tuned masterpiece features 6 individual throttle bodies which assist with the amazing sound the car makes. The engine red lines at 8,000 RPMs and power delivery is smooth and predictable. Inline 6 cylinders are inherently balanced which makes them smooth and incredibly reliable. The particular M3 features the exciting SMG II Drivelogic transmission. This is a manual 6 speed transmission with a electrohydraulically actuated clutch which eliminates the need for a typical pedal actuated clutch. Shifts are performed by using the console mounted gear selector or the steering wheel mounted paddle shifters. This M3 is finished in Carbon Black Metallic, which looks black and then under some light has some blue in it. The interior is black leather and of course is loaded as a BMW should be. Setting this M3 apart from the rest is a sharp set of Vlk TE37 racing wheels. They are 19" all around but with 8.5" width in the front and 10.5" in the rear, it has a great staggered stance. The car only has 52,028 miles and has been maintained with Mobile 1 full synthetic oil.
