1964 Ford Falcon

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a very sharp and nicely modernized 1964 Ford Falcon Futura. This is a car that has the best of both worlds: classic styling inside and out from 1964, but modern day creature comforts hidden nicely underneath. On the outside we have a '64 Falcon Futura finished in white which looks stock save for some 5 spoke chrome wheels. The paint is very slick and shows off the straight body. The trim is in great shape including beautifully chromed front and rear bumpers. The interior is black vinyl which has been beautifully done and still smells new. A tilt column has been added, but the rest appears quite stock. It has a modern stereo which mimics the look of an old AM unit and would fool most. Its under the hood and under the car where things start to look more than stock. Pop the hood to reveal a strong running 302 CID V8 which is nicely dressed wearing some two tone "302" valve covers. Sitting on top is an Edelbrock carburetor and the engine exhales through manifolds with dual exhaust. An Accel super coil leads to a Mallory distributor to supply sufficient spark, and a nicely sized aluminum radiator keeps it all cool. To slow it all down this one has power brakes, with disc in the front, and a nicely dressed chrome master and booster. The goodies don't stop there, the tilt column inside may have given away the fact that this one now has power rack and pinion steering. The suspension has been upgraded with tubular A-Arms so now this thing handles like a dream. Perhaps one of the most welcome upgrades is the Air Conditioning which is all nicely plumbed and keeps a factory look inside mounted beneath the dash. The Falcon Futura was a great looking car to begin with, so it's nice to see this one finished in a factory color and exterior appearance. The upgrades that have been added with assist with power, handling, and reliability.
