1956 Chevrolet 3100

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a beautifully modified 1956 Chevrolet 3100 pickup. This street rod retains its factory roofline but has been lowered quite a bit to give a more aggressive look. The truck is finished in a bright coat of yellow which is slick and smooth. It sits on a staggered set of chrome American Racing wheels: 20" in the back and 18" in the front. The rear has been tubbed to fit a wide wheel and tire package. The tubs come into the bed which is nicely finished with glossy wood and chrome strips. The gas filler cap has been relocated in to the bed, and a custom black vinyl bed topper can be used. Under the hood is just as flashy as the outside. The small block has been nicely dressed up with chrome value covers and a polished Edelbrock Performer intake which houses a Holley 4 barrel carburetor. More chrome can be found on the alternator, master cylinder, ac compressor, water pump, and fan shroud. MSD Master blaster coil and MSD distributor supply the spark to this healthy small block. The dual exhaust exits out the side just in front of the rear axle and it sounds amazing. Bringing everything to a stop are power front disc and rear drum brakes. Hop in the cab and you'll find nice black upholstery including a black vinyl bench seat with Ostrich skin appearance. The black carpet is in wonderful condition as well. A tilt column keeps drivers of all sizes comfortable, and the B&M floor shifter makes for easy driving. This is a show truck which drives wonderfully and could easily be driven to car cruises and possibly take home a few trophies.
