For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro. Painted in yellow with black racing stripes, this Camaro looks hot. Stick your head inside the window and you'll see black vinyl interior which includes bucket seats and a console. Powering this muscle car is a 383 CID V8 engine backed by a manual 4-spd transmission. The 383 engine has many performance modifications which include: exhaust headers, electronic ignition, high-energy ignition coil, 4BBL carburetor, aluminum performance cylinder heads, aluminum intake, electric fuel pump, and more! The horsepower is estimated at 350. Assisting in keeping the car planted is Dunlop GT radial tires and alloy racing wheels. Other options include: console, console mounted tachometer, seat belts, vinyl interior, front and rear spoiler, and traction bars. Backing the power of the 383 engine is a 10-bolt rear-end. The 1969 Camaro carried over the previous year's drivetrain and major mechanical components, but all-new sheet metal, except the hood and trunk lid, gave the car a substantially sportier look. The grille was redesigned with a heavy "V" cant and deeply inset headlights. New door skins, rear quarter panels, and rear valance panel also gave the car a much lower, wider, more aggressive look. This styling would serve for the 1969 model year only. This Camaro is complete with Z28 badges and the striped to go along with it.
