The Muncie manual transmission allows you to feel the vibration of the engine at your finger tips and shifting through the gears couldn't be better! . Cast iron headers mount to the still shining new dual exhaust. The Chevy is painted classic hot rod red, painted to match red front and rear bumpers. The paint on this vehicle just over 1 year old and is in great condition with no rust concerns. The undercarriage and engine bay have been painted black to accentuate the surrounding areas. As you peek inside the driver's side window you will see the original steering wheel that will transport you back to 1963 and the good ol' days. The interior has been painted silver to pair with the modern gray cloth bucket seats. The truck bed is composed of stained wood slats that are nicely tied into the build. The truck sits on modern 1980's style Chevrolet truck rally wheels adorned to staggered radial tires. Recent maintenance includes wheel cylinders, a new starter, a new battery and brakes. This particular C10 is from the first generation of the Chevrolet light truck design which was from 1960-1966. The "C" designated two-wheel drive and the "10" referred to half-ton. The only update that the 63' C10 saw from the earlier models was coil-spring front suspension, which vastly improved the handling of the vehicle. A 1963 Chevrolet Pickup can be distinguished by the grille which had a more egg-crate appearance and headlamp bezels. Parking light lenses where the same as previous years, except federal regulations now required the automotive industry to change from clear to amber. The original MSRP was listed at just over 2000 dollars. With inflation, that is $15,542 today!
