The Porsche 911 has been praised for years for its impeccable build quality, state of the art technology, and an unmistakable look. Since its inception in 1963, Porsche has kept the recipe simple and consistent: rear engine, rear drive, and a unique Flat 6 "Boxer" engine. For many years the recipe also included air cooling, but in 1998, with tightening emissions and safety restrictions, they switched to a traditional water cooled engine. This change was at first unwelcomed by the Porsche purists, but with the potent water cooled power plants they were using, most were quickly won over. This 2004 Carrera 2 features the 3.6 Liter naturally aspirated version which cranks out 315 Horsepower and is good for 0-60 mph in less than 5 seconds. Couple this smooth, high revving engine with the silky 6 speed manual transmission and you have one mean driver's car. This particular example is finished in Seal Gray which really looks at home on this car. This one has upgraded 19" Aluminum wheels with Porsche center caps. They are wrapped in healthy Continental rubber with good tread. Of course it has 4 wheel power disc brakes, and this one has upgraded drilled and slotted rotors. Inside is clear black leather upholstery which hardly looks used. It has the optional Bose sound system and heated, power seats. This 911 has only 32,269 miles and hardly looks used.
