Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a very nicely restored 1969 Chevrolet Camaro. This Camaro coupe has been tastefully finished in Flash Red which has been beautifully laid with Sikkens base coat/clear coat. The Camaro sits on a set of polished American Racing "Coke Bottle" 5 spoke wheels. The tires have a nice staggered look with 215s in the front and some nice meaty 255 in the rear. This Camaro certainly has the look, and don't worry, it has the muscle too. Under the hood you'll find a 406 CID built V8. This is a small block 400 4 bolt main block bored 0.030 over to a 406. The 400 crank is turned and polished .010 under. It has 5.7" Chevrolet "X" connecting rods with ARP rod bolts. The pistons are Speed Pro 4.155 diameter forged flat top which make for a 10:1 ratio with 74cc heads. It has a double roller timing chain, and Airflow Research Aluminum heads #1035 with hardened valve seats and bronze valve guides. The heads have CNC ported chambers and ports. The 400 has a Comp Cams XE268H extreme Energy Cam. It also has Comp Cams hydraulic lifters, Comp Cams Magnum roller rockers and Manley hardened pushrods. Sitting on top is a polished aluminum Airflow Research FloPower ROM intake and a Holley 750 CFM carburetor. The engine breathes through Dynomax headers which are ceramic coated inside and out, and Borla stainless exhaust. It has an MSD 6AL ignition system with MSD wires and AC Rapid-Fire plugs. Everything has been assembled with Fel-Pro gaskets and a stainless steel fastener kit. The transmission is a TH350 with shift kit. It has a B&M deep pan and extended fluid pickup. It also has a TCI 2400 stall torque converter and B&M tranmission cooler. The rear end is a 10 bolt Chevrolet rear end with 3.08 final drive ratio. New parts include: gas tank, hood, trunk lid, radiator support, passenger inner fender, driver and passenger full length floor pans and passenger rocker panel. This is a really well sorted performance oriented Camaro which would make any gear head proud. To see this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro in greater detail, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com.
