The cab of the truck had 6 inches removed from the bottom, and a new floor pan and a firewall were installed to accommodate the change. The frame features 2X4 reinforced rails for enhance structural integrity. The entire underside of this truck has been sprayed in the Ford paint code PQ, or "Race Red" PPG, and looks as clean as the rest of the truck. The cab and bed sport PPG Hot Rod Black. The interior and underside of the cab feature SEM Pro-Tex tintable truck bed liner, tinted in Race Red to match the frame. The rear suspension features a ladder bar design and coil over shocks. The Lucky Seven front end features disc brakes, and a race red color to match the rest of the frame and underside. Powering this Hot Rod is a mild 454 CID V8 Chevrolet big block. An aluminum Edelbrock Performer intake and a Quick Fuel 750 carburetor sit atop the engine. An aluminum radiator has been employed to keep this big block cool for optimal performance. Laker Styler headers flow from the V8 to the full exhaust that run just past each door. The freshly rebuilt 700R4 automatic transmission features a 2800 stall converter, a shift kit, and a Lokar shifter. A Ford 9" rear end with 31 spline axles, Ford Track Lock carrier, and Ford racing 4.11 gears is in charge of putting the horsepower to the pavement via the massive Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R radial rear tires. The new LED headlights provide a very cool and modern look to the overall build.
