The engine and transmission are out of a 2003 Chevrolet Suburban. The engine is the 5.3 Vortec and produces 285 horse power and 325 lbs/ft of torque. The transmission is the GM Turbo HydraMatic 4L60-E offering an overdrive to help out with fewer stops to the filler station. Power brakes help slow things down in a hurry and power steering assist with turning those wide 20 inch tires. In addition to the power steering and power brakes, the truck is equipped with cruise control, air conditioning, CD player and seat belts. On the full frame off restoration the truck has seen less than 5,000 miles. The interior was restored and matches the exterior with black and yellow making their way inside. The gauges have been replaced with white faced gauges to help freshen up the look and there's a nice JVC CD player to play your favorite tunes. The gas tank has been relocated to the rear and there a section of the bed that lifts up to access the gas cap. The bed itself is nicely painted black and you can still see the wood grain beneath the paint.
