Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a great 1967 Chevrolet Camaro. Chevrolet was off to the pony car races with their introduction of the Camaro in 1967. This was their small, lightweight, affordable coupe which would compete with Ford's Mustang. Camaros could be had with simple 6 cylinder engines and very little equipment, or specked up with big block V8s, power equipment and appearance packages. This particular 1967 comes with a 327 CID V8 and a Powerglide automatic transmission. Finished in bright red, the car was recently painted, and has had the engine rebuilt less than 100 miles ago. The car fires right up at one bump of the ignition, and is a great car to drive. This one sits on traditional rally wheels with staggered tires for an old school look. The interior is black vinyl in good shape. Bucket seats occupy the front, and this one is shifted on the column. With all the parts available for first generation Camaros, this one is a great foundation to make it what you want in a Camaro. You could drive this car as is and enjoy every minute of it, or turn it into a street scorching pro touring monster. You can see this solid 1967 Chevrolet Camaro in greater detail in our St. Louis showroom or at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Please contact 618-271-3000 or with questions.
