The odometer reads 1,185, which represents the mileage on the car since the restoration was complete in the late 1990's. Options for this 1940 Ford Convertible include: JVC AM/FM Radio with Cassette, Manual Convertible Top, Power Trunk, Power Windows, Tilt Wheel, Vinyl Interior, Raised White Letter Radial Tires, American Racing Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. Powering this classic 40' Ford is a Chevrolet 350 CID V8 with a balanced crank and a mild cam. Edelbrock aluminum valve covers, intake, and air cleaner dress up the appearance of the 350 CID SBC and provide better performance as does the Holley carburetor. Headers flow from the V8 A TH350 automatic transmission transfers the power to the Torino rear end with ease. A Mustang II front end was installed to improve steering and handling for this old classic Ford Deluxe convertible. The tan manual convertible top looks awesome when utilized, it is free from any rips, tears, or wear. A tan vinyl convertible boot is in place to cover the top when down to produce a clean, finished look. The tan vinyl interior is also in good condition, free from any rips, tears, or wear. A button in the glove box operates the power trunk lid for easy access to the trunk. The paint and brightwork are in excellent condition, especially considering the age of the restoration. American Racing aluminum alloy wheels are wrapped in BF Goodrich Radial T/A raised white letter tires and provide a classic hot rod look and stance.
