1969 Chevrolet Camaro

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro. This certainly not your run of the mill Camaro. This is a street machine that will send any other car running for the hills. Powering this machine is a 396 Big Block Chevy that has been bored to a 402. Forcing additional air into the rat motor is an 8-71 Dyers blower sporting 2 Holley 850 carburetors. Bringing the engine to life is an MSD ignition system. Fuel is supplied from a 15 gallon fuel cell and an electronic pump. The rest of the engine is equipped with custom open chamber pistons, 4 bolt mains, Eagle rods, ARP head bolts, Scorpion rockers and an Offenhauser intake manifold. The exhaust is directed through 2 1/4 inch coated Hooker Headers. Keeping the engine cool is no problem thanks to a giant t aluminum radiator and electronic cooling fans. Sending the power to the rear wheels is done through a Linco 4-speed transmission, aluminum flywheel, Lakewood bell housing and a McLeod dual disk clutch. Out back is a Ford 9 inch housing 4.56 gears and 35 spline Strange axles. Pro coilovers keep the tires firmly planted to the ground, at least the rear tires as the fronts may lift off the ground. The chassis is equipped with sub frame connectors and a pro stock roll cage. The beautiful paint is Cobalt Blue and truly looks amazing. It professionally sprayed and is show car quality. The interior is all new and even features a radio with CD player. Although it may be hard to hear while the beast of an engine is running.
