Powering this 97' Firehawk is the original LT1 V8 engine which features the SLP package. The upgraded air induction system and performance exhaust system with the LT1 produce 310 horsepower. The six speed manual transmission with a Hurst shifter transfers those horses to the Torsen torque sensing limited slip differential rear end which houses 3.42 gears. This Firehawk also received the Level II Bilstein Sports Suspension Package. This package was an upgrade from a Firebird Formula suspension and consists of specially valved front and rear Bilstein shocks and progressive rate springs, revised rear lower control arms and transmission mount. Additional exterior Firehawk features include: composite hood with functional air scoops, Trans Am rear spoiler, unique fog lamps, and 17"X9" chrome plated five-spoke aluminum/alloy wheels. The original bright red exterior paint and Firehawk graphics look fantastic, as this 97' Firebird has been garaged its entire life, and has rarely seen rain. The charcoal grey leather interior is also in excellent condition, free from any rips or tears.
