Vinyl InteriorGateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a nicely restored 1965 Dodge Coronet. This Coronet features a freshly rebuilt 440 CID V8 with plenty of goodies. It inhales through a Holley carburetor, and exhales through headers and true dual exhaust. There's no mistaking the rumble of a healthy 440, and this one is healthy. Backing the 440 is a 727 Torqueflite transmission and an 8 3/4 rear end with 3.91 final drive ratio. The rebuilt engine and transmission have just 3,000 miles since the overhaul and the car runs and drives beautifully. The car was painted 2 years ago in a beautiful burgundy color which nicely compliments the interior. The car sits on Cragar SS wheels with raised white letter radials in all four corners. A nice safety upgrade is the front disc brakes which are a huge improvement over the stock drums. Perhaps the nicest upgrade this one has seen is the additional of a Vintage Heat and Air system. These systems are considered the best in the business and will keep you comfortable on those long cruises. This car would make a nice weekend cruiser, Power Tour car, or cruise night vehicle.
