This 51' 3100 is powered by a 1955 235 CID inline 6 cylinder engine that features Fenton Headers with dual exhaust and Smithy Mufflers. This engine runs like a top and purrs like a kitten when sitting at idle. The 4-speed manual transmission shifts the power to rear end with 4.11 gears very smoothly. An extensive restoration was completed 5 years ago on this 3100, since then the truck has been maintained incredibly well, as it looks like a month old restoration. During the restoration the a host of new parts were installed including: complete new brakes, new headers/exhaust, complete rewire, new lights, new king-pins and tire rod ends, new generator/voltage regulator/ignition, new windshield and weather stripping, new carpet/headliner/door panels, complete new truck box/oak floor, new running boards and bumpers.
