Both the exterior paint and interior are in very good condition. The brightwork on this Galaxie is in very good condition and has likely been redone at some point in its life. The Galaxie was a full-sized car built in the United States from 1959 to 1974 by the Ford Motor Company. The name Galaxie was a marketing attempt to stay in tune with the space race of the time. The gauge cluster resembles that of a rocket ship, and the taillights look a lot like afterburners from an Air Force jet. The 1964 Galaxie was the last year of the generation. The interior trim shows a slight redesign from the prior year, and the exterior design was to make the car more aerodynamic for NASCAR racing.
